Party with Lady Gaga; JockBoyMusic Style!

You know we have been following Lady Gaga here on JockBoyMusic since back in July and last night she finally made it to Atlanta!  So of course I had to go see her because I did tell her that I would go out and party with her when we did our interview!  So I did a little research because she is playing select smaller venues while she is on tour with the New Kids on the Block.  I found out she would be at Bazzaar and contacted them to get details they were very helpful and if you are ever in Atlanta make sure to stop by and have a drink!  She arrived at Bazzaar around 11:30 and then went on around 12:15 am to a packed room.  She was great live and sang 4 songs, Beautiful Dirty Rich, Poker Face, Just Dance and Starstruck which is a new track on her US album release.  After her performance she signed CD's took photos with fans and partied it up Lady Gaga style!  Below you will see some of the photos from her performance along with some of me getting to meet her and DJ Space Cowboy!  If you have a chance check out her MySpace or her Official Website for tour dates you will notice some cities have 2 shows the second show is a smaller venue so if you have a chance go out and see her!  Also if you didn't read my review of The Fame make sure to check it out and then go get the album!

An Evening with Dolly Parton

I recently got the chance to go see the biggest country diva in the world - Dolly Parton when she stopped through Atlanta on her tour to help promote her new album Backwoods Barbie.  Her concert "An Evening with Dolly Parton" is worth every penny you will spend on the ticket.  She sang her biggest hits like "Here You Come Again", "9 to 5", "Jolene" "Coat of Many Colors" "Two Doors Down" and of course "I Will Always Love You" just to name a few, not to mention she let us have a great sampling from her new album Backwoods Barbie.  Not only did she sing she entertained, which can't be said for some preformers that are half her age.  I loved how she not only got up there to preform the numbers but then shared story's about her songs, joked about plastic surgery, her recent back troubles and about how she grew up.  Dolly is a true performer and we are not likely to see someone with true country roots like her again in our lifetime.  She embodies what every musician, artist and actor should strive to be... real!  Make sure to try and catch one of her upcoming dates which I have listed below and ya'll have fun now ya' hear.

Sticky Sweet! Madonna's Touring This Fall!

It's been confirmed folks, the queen of pop and the master of my universe, Madonna is touring this fall. She will kick off her "Sticky Sweet" tour in Cardiff, Wales on August 26th and begin her North American tour in Rutherford, N.J. on October 3rd.
